During an intensive 3 days training course held at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort during the first week of August, Island Hotels Group's General Managers and Human Resources Managers were certified as Yes I Can! Hotel Trainers. The course was delivered by Celine Ballereau, a senior trainer based at the Radisson SAS Resort in Egypt.
Yes I Can! is the core service philosophy of The Rezidor Hotel Group. More than just a slogan, Yes I Can! is a way of life for all employees. Our Vision is as simple as "Yes I Can!" It is a way of life for all employees, who are hired for attitude and trained for skills and who genuinely, believe in taking care of their guests and making them feel at home. Yes I Can! Training had been delivered to all employees when first launched and on a continuous basis to all Island Hotels Group employees. Moreover it parties the basis of every new employee's initial training when joining the Group. The recently revamped version of Yes I Can! The Heart of Radisson will be delivered to all of the Island Hotels Group's 1,000 employees across all properties including The Coastline Hotel, The Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort, The Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & SPA and Island Caterers.

By the end of the year the Yes I Can! Hotel Trainers would have run 6,000 hours of training ensuring that each employee is certified and able to proudly wear the Yes I Can! Pin as a confident message to guests that they are empowered to satisfy each and every guest they are in contact with. Island Hotels Group believes in continuous training and development of its staff which is the key to achieving the high service standards the Company is known for. As well as Yes I Can! Training numerous other training programmes are scheduled including 'Skills For Life', a Management Development programme being held over six months for 45 members of the Company's Management team.
