Assistant Front Office Manager

At the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands we are currently in search of an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. The candidate will ensure that Front Office Team Members are well-informed and trained to deliver an exceptional experience to guests from arrival through departure.
The selected candidate shall be responsible for managing most of the guests’ services and, therefore, must have the ability to demonstrate the following tasks to the highest standards:
– Manages the day-to-day front office operations, ensuring the quality, standards and efficiency are of top priority to exceed guests expectations;
-Participates in the development of departmental objectives, work schedules, training, policies, and procedures;
-Monitor front office operation standards to ensure that these are being adhered as well as the performance and development of team members.
The ideal candidate must possess leadership, interpersonal and communication skills whilst being an excellent team player who is motivated to go beyond the guests’ expectations. An ITS qualification or similar coupled with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Front Office operation at a supervisory level will be highly regarded. Furthermore, the selected candidate must be proficient in all aspects of Front Office procedures including Opera.
Additionally, he/she must demonstrate a positive and genuine ‘Yes I Can’ attitude backed with a solid understanding of guest satisfaction practices and quality standards.

Front Office Supervisor
A great opportunity has arisen for an energetic and dedicated individual with a passion for hospitality to join our dynamic Front Office Team.
The key responsibilities of this role will be to support the Front Office Team by performing the following duties:
– Supervising and co-ordinating the shift activities at Front Office, acting as a liaison between guests and management in order to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free service to customers
– Providing on-the-job training to new and existing team members
– Ensuring colleagues adhere to policies and procedures as per hotel requirements
– Assisting the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department whilst ensuring that brand standards are followed.
The selected candidate shall be proficient in Opera and have a minimum of 2 years experience within a Front Office department preferably within a five star environment. Fluency in English is a must whilst as well being able to communicate clearly and concisely with both team members and guests. Additionally, he/she must demonstrate a positive and genuine ‘Yes I can’ attitude backed with a solid understanding of guest satisfaction practices and quality standards.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounts Clerk will perform various duties within the Finance department. He/she will be responsible for the preparation of the creditors’ reconciliation and fixed asset registry, cash, as well as assisting with daily administrative functions as required both by the Accounts team and the Cost Control team.
Candidates applying for this position should be in possession of an ‘A’ Level qualification in Accounts, or equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is essential whilst an understanding of basics of Opera, Sun Accounting and Adaco will be considered an asset.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a genuine and positive ‘Yes I Can’ attitude. Additionally, he/she shall be organised, multi-tasking, possess excellent analytical skills and be able to work under minimum supervision and on own initiative.
