The Program
Between the 15th and the 16th of December, our Radisson SAS Engineers, Mr. Valerio Spiteri and Ing. Ray Vassallo attended a very intensive 2 day Responsible Business Hotel Trainer Certification Workshop.
The training sessions were led by Timea Milkova and took place at Radisson SAS Alcron Hotel, Praha, Czech Republic. The sessions were also attended by:
- Luca Radjenovic, Executive Secretary, Regent Zagreb
- Siana Staykova, Executive Secretary, Radisson SAS Sofia
- Daniela Tatarkova, Human Resources Manager, Park Inn Ostrava
- Ali Silvian Matei, Safety & Security Manager, Radisson SAS Bucharest.
The training covered two programmes. The first was called Living Responsible Business and which every employee will be undertaking. This is a very interactive programme and takes about 3 hours. Valerio and Ray will be leading these programmes. The objectives of this programme are:
Explain what is meant by Responsible Business and why it is important for your hotel and The Rezidor Hotel Group.
- Describe with examples, what is meant by Social & Ethical Responsibility
- List 2 things you can do to be Socially & Ethically responsible
- Describe, with examples, what is meant by Environmental Responsibility
- List 2 things you can do to be Environmentally responsible
The other programme which Valerio and Ray will also be leading is intended for members of management and is entitled Leading Responsible Business. This programme will enable managers to explain what is meant by Leading Responsible:
- Business and why it is important for your hotel and The Rezidor Hotel Group
- Identify the various stakeholders in Responsible Business and how you can meet their expectations
- Describe, with examples how you can "lead" Responsible Business
